My biggest challenge is being a wife, not just a mom. That is my biggest challenge as a parent...I feel unappreciated as a wife/mom and I tend to get GROUCHY with the husband...so that is my biggest struggle as a parent!
This is a good one...I'd have to say my biggest challenge about being a parent is remembering that I'm a wife too.

not to loose my temper.... I take time for myself when I start to fel overwelmed... by kids deserve a good mommy not a crazy mommy :)
I have to agree on the wife thing. I think sometimes I get so caught up in the mommy role and neglect my hubby's feelings. My other biggest challenge is to parent somewhat different then my parents.My parents did the best that they could but one thing that I see that was wrong was that we were not allowed to express our feelings. I stuffed everything down. I was just reminded of this today when my son was mad. My hubby reminded me that he has a right to be mad and to show it but appropriately.
My biggest challenge as a parent of a 16 year old is to not micro-manage him. At some point he has to learn to properly manage his time. As my husband says, "he won't always have his MOMMA there." lol
