I remember writing a paper in school in 6th grade about becoming an air traffic controller! I now don't think I could handle that stressful job - parenting is enough!!

I wanted to be a teacher in a Christian elementary school. I'm not sure where I got off that path but I am a Christian and in my work I teach teachers about FASD. Does that count?! Great question! ~Kari
I love reading all of these answers. When I was in high School I wanted to be a journalist and then a nurse. I think at one time I wanted to be a child psychologist.
i wanted to be a teacher. well I teach my childeren and others. That should count. How I ended up a Nanny for 18 years is beyond me. Maybe because I amde more money as a nanny, then most teachers amke. Which is sad. At least my son got to come to work with me for the first 5 years of his life. No day care. Now I have the joys of staying home. :)
I don't know why, but I wanted to be a judge. I am still fascinated by our legal system, and the legal system of other countries. However, I would never want to be a judge today!!!
I wanted to be a nurse and a mom... I guess I got the second one... the best one!!!
A teacher and a mommy. I taught for 11 years and am now a sahm. Does this mean I'm ready for retirement? ;o)
A mommy or a truck driver.
Well, I remember wanting to be a nurse until I was about 8. I saw a boy pulled from under a car, screamed and ran in the house. LOL
Then I wanted to be a missionary. In High School I wanted to be a social worker, but was concerned about getting too attached to kids or getting to angry at some of the parents.
Now I'm a SAHM and a pastor's wife, so maybe I became all of those on "some" level?? :)
